Grandmother of young Staten Hilliard (also buried here). Harriett Register Hilliard-Stalvey, the widow of Civil War veteran Pvt. John Hilliard whose remains lie on the battlefield in Mississippi where he fell. Harriet was the sister of Benjamin’s wife, Rhoda.
Daughter of Raymond Hilliard and Annie Capps Hilliard. Ella Mae's twin by the same name as well as mother died during labor.
